I wanted to put the ring on top, but I'm totally blanco when it comes to HTML, so the intention was there...  but it didn't come out the way I wanted it, so maybe some day.....beaches and birthdays.Yesterday it was Frank's birthday, he became 21 and celebrating it, at the same time it was something like a goodbye-party 'cause next monday he will be leaving for Australia for at least a year!

For this reason his sister and boyfriend from Friesland also came to Haarlem for the weekend and because the wheather was perfect yesterday, we took the dogs and went to the beach, was nice to get some fresh air through my brains again
 .Also, with the whole family we went out for dinner Saturday to spend the "De Jong's Dinner Doekoe Doos", something like a black box and the last year we saved money in it, every time one of the De Jong's kids or girl/boyfriends was having a birthday. So this weekend everyone have had its birthday and we spent the black box in a restaurant. We've been to Lakoniek in Haarlem, and spent there the whole evening (yup, that's a Dutch habbit; when you go out for dinner, you're really going out and you can spend the whole evening at one restaurant and no one bothers. So it's not like; the service needs to be very fast and we are very happy when we don't get our second meal too soon, lol. We really take our time. I have a Canadian sister-in-law and she's always very surprised when we go out for dinner and take the whole evening for it, 'cause it's something she doesn't know from Canada, that's only for the fancy dinners she says.)

Still okay overhere, just busy with...well nothing special actually.
And also, my space account was acting weird, couldn't updat my blogs, stuff like that.
Well, now you know I'm still alive and well, almost having a week off (GREAT!!!!) and I'll keep you all up to date when something (anything) happens.
So far; I'll be out for 2 dinners probably this weekend; a good way to start a holiday! February 06 Daniël Nino BegovicThis afternoon Martijn and I visited Maris and Ermin to congratulate them with their son Daniël.
Holding Daniël in my arms, I melted; such a lovely little boy, in a very deep sleep, feeling warm and soft.
It was so good to see Ermin and Mariska, talking to them and to hear how they are doing.
Hope to see them soon again and hope they can sleep in a little (hmmm...).
Vanmiddag zijn Martijn en ik op kraamvisite geweest bij Ermin en Maris, en Daniël natuurlijk!
Wat een ontzettend lief ventje. Helemaal laveloos lag hij bij Maris te slapen en dat ging gewoon door toen ik hem in m'n armen kreeg.
Op een gegeven moment gunde hij ons een blik in z'n ogen en heb ik veel plezier om hem gehad door alle spiertrekkingen die nu al in z'n gezicht voor komen.
We hebben even gezellig met een vermoeide Ermin en Maris zitten kletsen, was erg fijn om zo gauw al bij ze langs te kunnen komen en als goede surrogaat-tante heb ik natuurlijk aardig wat foto's gemaakt (net als Martijn).
Op mijn space nu de eerste foto's, met toestemming van Ermin en Maris.
Ik hoop 't ventje gauw weer te zien en ik hoop dat Maris en Ermin de komende tijd een beetje bij kunnen komen van alles en lekker kunnen blijven genieten. February 04 Impressive dancing performanceHey there all!
Yesterday I've been to such a beautiful dancing performance!
It really was impressive, beautiful movements, so organic and also loveable music.
Eva, one of my best friends, got me the ticket for my birthday and we really had a beautiful evening.

February 01 Daniël Nino is nu eindelijk van deze wereld!This morning Daniël Nino has been born! Ermin called me around 1pm, everything went fine and now they are relaxing and sleeping. We will see them very soon I hope. It's a funny thing feeling like; them having a baby; so normal and yet so special...weird...but most of all precious. First close friends having a baby, the next one will be born in August, it feels like it's all around us in some way. Where are my childhood-days? A new phase in life has started, I didn't even noticed it happened...
 Maris and Ermin; congratulations, relax and enjoy! En toen ging om 13.00 uur mijn telefoon, waarop ik zei; zou er een baby geboren zijn? Ik had Maris al de hele ochtend niet meer online gezien, waardoor ik op de 1 of andere manier het gevoel had dat die baby nu toch echt er aan zat te komen. En toen ik zag dat Ermin belde, waren mijn vermoedens bijna bevestigd.
En jawel, eindelijk was het dan zover; Daniël is geboren!!!!
Hartstikke vlot gegaan, wel nog even naar het ziekenhuis, maar niets ernstigs, Maris trok het allemaal erg goed en Daniël ook.
Heb Ermin even de verkorte versie laten vertellen, terwijl Daniël op de achtergrond van zich liet horen; JA, je mag er nu ook zijn hoor!
Helemaal super en een beetje shaky in de benen hing ik een paar minuten later op...een periode is definitief afgesloten...de eerste vriendin die dicht bij me staat heeft een kind...dag jeugd...(hahahahahaha, ok...das wat overdreven, maar toch)...de volgende baby komt over een paar maanden...wat ontzettend gaaf om mee te maken vanaf de zijlijn en toch...geruisloos zonder op te vallen, glijdt er een volgende levensfase over ons heen.
Wat ben ik blij voor ze dat alles goed is gegaan en wat ben ik nu al blij met Daniël Nino, ik vind 'm nu al superlief, cool, stoer en schattig tegelijk, terwijl ik 'm alleen nog maar gehoord heb, waarop ik door de telefoon zei; "Wat is ie klein!"
Hopelijk gauw kijken, maar eerst maar even laten bijkomen, familie zien en dan komen wij wel aan de beurt.
Ehm...zondag? Na m'n verjaardag..heb ik geen plannen hoor...uitslapen enzo...rest van de dag alle tijd...hahahaha...geintje..doe maar rustig aan en kom lekker bij, nog tijd genoeg om langs te komen!
